Glamping with alpacas!
Christie Alpacas is a small alpaca farm located just off the NE250 route, 3 miles from the historic town of Banff. We are home to 12 alpacas (and counting!) and offer glamping pod accommodation, as well as various visitor packages to allow you to meet the alpacas.
Stay in the Paca Pod
The Paca Pod is a unique, hand-built, glamping pod with private swimming pool access. It contains all the essentials for your stay – a double bed, sofa bed, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and bedding. A separate toilet and shower isÂ
Your stay includes the glamping pod, sole use of the bathroom facilities, exclusive use of the swimming pool and attached conservatory area, as well as meeting the alpacas located just a few metres away across the patio area.Â
Meet the Alpacas
We have three options which each allow you to get up close to the alpacas.
Meet and Greet – meet and feed the herd of alpacas within their fields.
Mini Trek – Meet and feed the alpacas in their fields, then take the alpacas for a walk on a lead around our field.
Full Package – Meet and feed the alpacas in their fields, take the alpacas for a walk around our field then enjoy a cuppa and sweet treat with a view over the alpacas’ field.
Alpaca Shop
We have a small alpaca shop on site, selling yarn spun from our alpacas’ fleece and alpaca yarn products, as well as a variety of fun alpaca-themed gifts.
