Granite Adventures
Granite Adventures have a range of fantastic activities to get you out and enjoying the adventurous side of the NE250. No matter if you are looking for a relaxing walk through stunning scenery or you are looking for an adrenaline rush of kayaking on white water we have something for you.

Glen Tanar
Glen Tanar is set in the spectacular Cairngorms National Park in Royal Deeside and provides the perfect base for exploring the outdoors. With nine luxury self catering cottages and a range of activities on offer you can escape the everyday and experience the best of natural Scotland.
There are miles upon miles to roam free so why not stretch your legs after your day driving the North East 250 and take a day’s hiking up Scotland’s most easterly Munro, Mount Keen, or enjoy some fishing on the River Dee.
We want you to enjoy this beautiful glen whatever the occasion, from Highland holidays to hill walking, salmon fishing and wildlife watching. .
Craggan Outdoors
An award-winning outdoor activity centre with 60-bed bunkhouse accommodation & a licensed café venue. Based at Grantown-on-Spey, the centre combines a beautiful Speyside setting & being in the northern Cairngorms National Park, they offer one of the widest ranges of outdoor activities – from archery to zip wire – available anywhere across the North of Scotland.
Accommodation is spread across two locations, Glenbeg (37 beds), which is 2 miles outside Grantown in a beautiful rural setting, & Ardenbeg (23 beds) which is in town.
Their Clubhouse Café offers a convenient stop-off & a warm welcome for refreshments right beside the A95, just 1 mile south of Grantown.
Stonehaven Open Air Pool
Stonehaven Heated Open Air Pool is the UK’s only Olympic size, heated seawater art deco swimming pool. It’s often warmer than the Med with clean, filtered seawater heated to 29°C.
There’s splashy, healthy fun for everyone – babies to grannies, whatever the weather – with quiet swims, a paddling pool for tots inflatable sessions and a fast chute for young – and not-so-young! – swimmers and midnight swims.
Tickets are valid all day so come and go as you please or laze on the sheltered sun terraces. Enjoy tasty snacks from the on-site café or bring a picnic. With lots of free parking nearby, the Pool is well signposted in the town and from the A90.
Outfit Moray & Bike Revolution
Founded in 2003, Outfit Moray has worked with over 15,000 children and young people; building confidence, self-esteem and resilience, providing positive role models and encouraging the acquisition of life skills and new experiences through challenge and positive risk taking.
As an outdoor learning and adventure charity, we support vulnerable and disadvantaged young people in Moray by offering activities such as rock climbing, kayaking, abseiling, mountain biking, canoeing, coasteering, archery and much more.
Outfit Moray offer the same adventurous activities on a ‘pay to play’ basis available to all. Bike Revolution provides guided bike rides, bike hire, servicing and repairs from our base in Lossiemouth.
