Covid. A statement from our Director
The realities of the COVID-19 outbreak have hit all of us hard. Businesses around the North East 250 will have taken the government guidelines on social distancing on board, leading to closures of those enterprises and considerable pain.
With a heavy heart one has to accept that the tourist season in North East Scotland at best will be delayed, while the country gets on top of the virus. There is no other option, and it is in the best interests of all of us.
Our social media will be somewhat on hold, just ticking over. Don’t let this time be as negative as it might be; focus on the positives. We are all doing our best to get through these times together. If you are local in the North East you can still enjoy that fresh air as long as you keep to the guidelines; there are so many walks that can be enjoyed with your household in the early Spring sunshine today.
Please be patient – if you did have plans to complete the NE250 in the coming months, this isn’t permitted at the moment but while you are social distancing you can use our website to plan your next road trip with us.
On behalf of all the team on the North East 250 we want to wish you and your loved ones good health in these challenging times. Stay at Home, Protect the NHS, Save Lives…
